The Note Book, Volume 1
The Note Book, Volume 1 is a book of sixty handwritten notes collected off the ground of Halifax, Nova Scotia in 2017. It is a survey of some of the unique things that get lost in our public spaces. These notes tell a story of the strangers that pass us by; where they are from, where they are going, why. They are only temporarily important to their original owner, but once lost, they take on a new meaning of their own. This book is just the beginning of an ongoing project to collect and document these artefacts of one another.
