World Anew uses 5 found photos, 5 photos I took from between 1974 and 1996, and a very limited bit of found text, to tell a short story about being swept into sudden emotional catastrophes and finding one’s way out the other side. I think it’s about a hope that arrives from the world rather than from within, a hope that shows the future in the midst of the present. It is a very personal tale that remains personal even while being told.
